Mandatory check-in sessions

Besides checking in with your school and residence hall, you will also have to check in with the ISSP office. Click on the day when you would like to come for the check-in, and sign up for one of the time slots. Preferably, you should attend the check-in session before the international orientation begins on August 21. There will be no check-ins on Thursday August 21.

Exceptions:

• Chemistry Ph.D. Students - You will have a special check-in on August 14 at 10 AM at the North Decatur Building. Please do not sign up here.
• Goizueta Business School MBA - F-1 MBA students will have a special group check-in session on July 31. Do not sign up here.
• Goizueta Business School Exchange BBA - J-1 exchange students will have a separate check-in that is TBA. Do not sign up here.
• Humphrey Fellows - will check in as a group at the ISSP office on August 12. Please do not sign up here.
• Oxford College - Oxford students will have check-in and orientation at the Oxford Campus on August 25. Please do not sign up here.
• School of Medicine - F-1 MD students will have a special group check-in session on August 4 from 11am to 2pm, in room A251 in the School of Medicine building. Do not sign up here.
• School of Law - Students will have a special group check-in session on August 18 from 2-4pm in Gambrell Hall, Suite 150. Please do not sign up here.
• School of Public Health - F-1 and J-1 students will have a special group check-in session on August 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rita Anne Rollins Room at the Rollins School of Public Health. Please do not sign up here.

If you arrive in Atlanta on Wednesday August 20 afternoon or later, and you won't be able to attend the check-in session before the orientation begins, please look at the orientation schedule and sign up for such a check-in session that will leave you time to attend the immigration, tax, employment and healthcare sessions.

Please bring all of your previously issued I-20s, I-94 card, and passport to the check-in session.

• Wednesday 27 August - no more slots available on this day (You should check in before the orientation begins 8/21)
• Thursday 28 August (You should check in before the orientation begins 8/21)

If, for any reason, you cannot attend the check-in session at all, please notify the ISSP at issp@emory.edu as soon as possible.
