Jonathan Dinkins joined the Housing Operations team as senior customer service representative on the Clairmont Campus. Jonathan earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and has been a teacher for the last several years.

Janell Goodwin-Farley begins her new role as the event coordinator for meeting services with the University Center, helping internal and external clients to plan their events in our large meeting spaces.

Kerry Milhaven joins Emory Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) as associate director of development, Campus Life and Athletics. Kerry comes to Emory from Make-A-Wish Georgia, where she spent the last three and a half years as director of golf and most recently the director of signature events.

Sharon Myers, the new coordinator for meeting services at with University Center, comes to Emory from Georgia Tech where she had more than 10 years of experience scheduling and planning events.

Mekeshua North has been appointed senior manager for Campus Life Human Resources, after serving most recently as manager for human resources. Her responsibilities include supervising HR staff and confirming that employment, compensation, employee relations, and affirmative action practices comply with established requirements.

Chanel Craft Tanner was recently promoted to director of the Center for Women at Emory (CWE). Chanel, and Emory PhD candidate, has produced collaborative intersectional programs that explore the interplay of gender, race, and power since joining the CWE in 2014.

Natalie Turrin has been named coordinator for gender and sexuality programs in the Office of LGBT Life and the Center for Women. She is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Emory.

Lina Vargas has been appointed senior director of finance shared services, responsible for leading and managing Finance Service Center operations. She will support business units throughout Campus Life, work with financial partners across the university, and ensure the center’s services meet or exceed customer expectations.

Tia Williams has been appointed program coordinator for the Center for Women (CWE). She served previously as undergraduate program coordinator in the Emory Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. With a master’s in education from the University of Georgia, Tia is currently pursuing a master’s in social work at UGA.

Sonia Parra Zuña joined the Finance Service Center in August as a senior business manager with a focus on Athletics and Recreation. She has over 16 years of financial experience in academic environments, serving most recently with Emory’s Office of Global Strategy. Sonia holds a bachelor’s in business management from Cornell and an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School.
