To: Woodruff P.E. Center and Student Activity & Academic Center Members

Dear Emory Community,

As members of the Emory Community, we share our administration’s commitment to supporting and investing in the financial wellbeing of our community of colleagues and members. As we navigate these unprecedented times together, we want to provide the following updates:

Memberships paid via payroll deduction

Payroll deductions for memberships to the Woodruff P.E. Center (WoodPEC) and Student Activity & Academic Center will not be processed for the duration of the facility closure. Members will see a final deduction on their March paycheck for their benefits prior to the closure, but will not see a deduction on their following paychecks during the closure. Payroll deduction for membership will resume after the facility reopens.

Memberships paid in full

Expiration dates for memberships paid in full will be extended for the number of days equal to the duration of the WoodPEC and SAAC facility closure. For example, if the facilities are closed for 30 days, the expiration date of all memberships will automatically be extended by 30 days.

We are committed to our members and are dedicated to supporting you during this stressful time. Social distancing does not mean disconnecting and we are actively developing additional programs and resources to support your health and well-being.

For more information and resources, please visit http://play.emory.edu/ or http://saac.emory.edu/.
